The real name is Militza Natascha Jovovich, of Serbian – Ukrainian origin born on December 17, 1975, in Kiev, Ukraine. His parents, Bogdan Bogdanovich Jovovich, a Serbian pediatrician, and Galina Loginova, a Soviet theater actress of Russian ethnic descent.
With only five years of life, the family of Milla escaped from the USSR and took refuge in London. Then they move again, this time to Sacramento, California to settle in Los Angeles where months later. Jovovich’s parents made the decision to divorce.
